‘Special Forces’ Star & Expelled Congressman George Santos Addresses “Haters” & Defends Co-Stars Brandi Glanville & Candace Cameron Bure

Expelled Congressman and former politician George Santos is defending himself and his Special Forces co-stars from all the criticism following their casting announcement . Santos took to social media to address the hate he and co-stars Brandi Glanville and Candace Cameron Bure have been receiving after it was revealed they would be starring in the Fox competition series. “To all the haters talking about me being fat, or @BrandiGlanville skin and wishing ill on @candacecbure amongst the other mean horrible things in the comment section...,” Santos posted on X , the microblogging platform formerly known as Twitter. He continued, “You could not walk a day in any of our shoes... we are humans, we put ourselves out there and we have thick skin, now I can handle banter, but vicious vile mean comments are uncalled for... go step on grass and then watch us all thrive taking on an insane challenge and kicking ass!” In another post on X , Santos said, “OMG internet yes I’m fat. lol,” and followed up with another one where he said, “You gonna see this fat boy move like no skinny person could ever lol.” Prior to responding to the criticism, Santos had shared with his followers he would be starring in Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test where he said, “You guys I did a thing and I’m excited to share it with y’all! This experience changed my perspective in life and it was the most humbling thing I’ve ever done!” A follow-up post where he shared his portrait read, “I took my fat behind off the couch and tried something new! And it changed EVERYTHING!
